"it's becoming a lot"?

I'm in a "situationship" and last week he said "I'm overwhelmed, I think I should take a step back" after we had what I'd consider the best night we've ever had of everything... I asked what he means and he said " It's becoming a lot" not sure what any of this means lol... a few weeks ago he told me he has feelings and that he likes me and this came out of no where... I've asked if we are "done" but he won't officially say that we are done and hasn't deleted me off snap chat either... so is this a "break" technically? So confusing and I also work with him so we see eachother daily and I sit close by.

He could worry that things are becoming more serious than he intended. What he said a few weeks ago no longer matters when this is his final verdict. Personally I don’t believe in breaks, I won’t be on standby until a man is ready to pick me back up again like his favorite prostitute. So if that works for you then great, just be sure to keep your feelings in check and know that this is only casual sex, in case he does ask for another night with you.
