WHY do people willingly date others who are dating multiple people at the same time? What do they hope to achieve with someone with little respect?

This is just the most recent example > What does it mean when a girl says she wants to do things the right way?

I mean when I was dating I had far too much self respect & self esteem to bother myself with people who were dating others at the same time. Mind I only dated a few men.

But if a guy admitted this to me my response would be simple > nice knowing you, get lost.

I mean such multi partner relationships are, in many ways, cheating & really doesn't install much faith in the other person for NOT being a cheater if you happen to get "serious".

Depends on how far along it is.


If you’ve seen someone for a while, you shouldn’t be seeing other people. But if you’ve only been on one or two dates with them, it’s way too early to expect them to be exclusive to you.


Keep in mind that people ghost a lot.


If you have two dates planned this week, and one ghosts, you still have one.


But if you reject someone because you have another date planned, and then that person ghosts, you have 0.

It's pretty common these days. I have multiple friends who casually date the same guys.
