Guys, Do boys take pics of ugly girls?

In the past I have seen guys take my picture, show their friends, and then start giggling. there's times when they would also throw things at me, I can't help but think maybe that I'm ugly and they're making fun of me? Just recently I was walking in the hallway and the guy in front of me turned back, and then pulled out his phone to take a picture, I know this because I was trying to walk past him and I could literally see his phone following me. I caught a glimpse of it and it looks he sent it to snapchat or something. Why are they doing this? Please help me understand
