Guy told his friends he thinks I hate him?

I overheard a guy from work telling his friends how he thinks I hate him. However he is the one who acts like he hates me, ignoring me and stuff. Why is he talking about me behind my back?

Once in a while he kind of flirts with me, or tries to initiate a conversation, then it's straight back to ignoring me to the point of being rude. He is not shy by the way, he is very outgoing.

Should I do something about this? It makes me feel awful that he says stuff like this to other coworkers. And there is no reason for this hate at all, how can I have it be normal?
