I this true love or obsession?

My boyfriend and i met at work.

He said he felt attracted to me and liked me, even tho i always ignored and rejected him. He said he can't say why he felt attracted, but even after i told him ill never date him (lol ) he continued and said back then he felt he had a chance.

So my question is:why he felt attracted to me even after i rejected him for nearly 2 years!!! Was he in love with me? cannot be, right? Was he obsessed?

Anyways... we making making 3 years together in a week and super happy now. Im actually glad i gave him a chance because with time i started like him too, even tho saw him a bit annoying. But now i think if i never accepted gim, id be sitting wondering what if.

For two reasons, in my opinion.
-- because you're apparently very happy
-- and you made him work his ass off to be with you, by repeatedly rejecting him and ignoring him. If you did that to me, I'd probably fall in love with you, too 😋

He said im the hardest , byfar, girl he ever had
Like everybody told him he has no chance but he said he felt little something
And confessed everytime i rejected him or ignored him he got turned on by that

I thought the more i reject and act rude the faster he leaves me alone
But he never lost interest , the opposite he woyld hit on me even more
I was really confused and overwhelmed how to handle that lol
