The guy I'm talking about is my first love from high school, we had an on/off thing for years though it was never an official relationship. He moved away and I got married.
After I left my husband, we started talking again and now we're back involved in a non defined unofficial LDR. There is no promises to be faithful or anything since we're so far apart. Yet we talk almost every day and he has told me he loves me, makes references to us being together and me moving up where he lives after my divorce is final.
But he's lied to me about hooking up with other girls. Ironically he mentioned a girl coming by for sex, but he didn't know that I actually had talked to her the night before online. I never told him that I knew that he had lied about it though.
I am not sure why he said that or why he lied. I'd told him he was free to date other girls but I didn't want to know unless he was getting serious about it. He's brought up a few other supposed incidents that I'm not sure about.
But he's constantly asking me if I ever want to be with anyone else. When I tell him no I'm only interested in him, afterwards he is super sweet and loving.
I don't know what to think about it. He's definitely lied to me and I can't figure out why he has. To make me jealous? To test me and see if I flip out? To hurt me?
