Do men like a tomboy girl?

For example- I usually find a lot of common interests with men. Video games, rock music, shooting guns or bows… and much more.

I usually dress very casually and conservative. I don’t necessarily act very feminine- but more down to earth and funny. But you can tell that I am a straight woman (to be blunt I don’t act gay or butch).

for some reason I feel like men are usually highly attracted to me. Do guys have romantic feelings towards women like me or do they most likely see me as a cool potential friend?

I like them very much and my wife is a tomboy of sorts. She dresses in a very feminine way (lots of dresses and skirts) but she likes action films, sports, martial arts (she trained in Judo and Kendo and her father is a Kendo instructor), most video games not so much but she became addicted to Diablo. She especially loves Jean Claude Van Damme movies; we tend to watch Bloodsport and Kickboxer together once every few years.

One of the things that delighted me about her was that I tried to take her on a romantic date at a park early into dating. The park featured a boat ride for couples with very romantic scenery. I thought she'd like that even though I'm not the most romantic guy.

Then when we arrived at the lake, I offered to take her on the boat ride and she refused and insisted she gets her on boat so that she can race me across the lake! Then we had so much fun racing each other across the lake. I won and then she humorously acted like a sore loser jokingly saying she lost because she worked out the day before and was still tired from it. 😂

I think most guys would really like a tomboy of sorts this way for maximum compatibility in interests. The one thing I don't like so much is when it expresses itself in fashion. I really think certain hairstyles and clothing are still better-suited to accentuate feminine features, while others can even detract from it. And same for men with certain hairstyles and clothing accentuating masculine features and others detracting from it.

I like black, but I do wear a lot of jewelry. I’m of Scandinavian decent so I portray that I’m my style. I wear some makeup. But I’m not a dress or skirt girl at all

I think that can be attractive too like feminine jeans and pants.

One of the things about my wife is that she grew up as the youngest daughter with only two elder brothers. So she seems to understand men better than most women I've met and has a very thick skin. We can tease each other a lot and I don't have to worry about inadvertently offending her.

With some of my exes before her, I sometimes felt like I had to walk around eggshells since they might be very sensitive and I might upset them by accident trying to make a joke. But with my wife, I never have to worry about that so above all else, there's a strong appeal to me in how naturally and comfortably I can communicate with her.

I dont like tomboys. I like feminine women. If I want to hangout with a dude, i dont need my lady to be “one of the guys”. She should be the feminine woman that I can comeback to. Some men like that Im the ones that dont. i dont want to feel like im with a dude when im around you. Thats just me.
