I’ve worked at my current place for just over two years. I’m 30 and the guy in question is 27. We’ve always got on really well, we banter together and we are both kind/caring people.
It would be difficult in my opinion, to know whether he was into me because he gets on really well with everyone and laughs/jokes with other girls. The reason I’m curious is because I’m married and my husband is convinced that he’s into me. I’ll list the “notable” things he has said/done.
He messaged “merry Christmas” to the work group chat but then personally messaged me “merry Christmas” as well.
He does things to get my attention, such as turning off the light in the room I’m in, typing on my keyboard when I’m working etc.
We make a lot of eye contact and I have caught him staring at me before.
When I didn’t turn up to work, he messaged me to see if I’m ok.
When I got engaged, he got into a relationship a few weeks later.
He confided in me about his relationship because his girlfriend messed him around.
When he split up with her, he was asking for my advice about other girls and showing me pictures of them for my opinion.
He came to my work hen do, and everyone else had filled in some fun cards about “advice for the bride” and he was the only one who didn’t.
At my wedding, he pulled me away to open his present that he got me. Someone found us chatting, and said to their partner “those guys are quite close aren’t they?”
He kept hugging me and nuzzled his face into my hair.
When I came back to work after the honeymoon, he was the only one who didn’t ask about it.
When I see him out of work, he is very huggy.
He has gotten jealous a few times, when my husband brought me into work, the guy called me a wimp and when I asked him to help me with something, he said “why don’t you go and ask your husband”
He makes silly jokes at work, when I jokingly said I was into men with beards, he said “does anyone have a razor?”
