We're a group of 3. Me, my guy friend and our mutual female friend.
My guy friend treats our female friend and I differently and often times I wonder what could be the cause of this.
For example, my guy friend teases me excessively, every single day and without pause. He becomes a child around me. literally. Whereas he rarely does this to our female friend. He teases her but lightly and not as often or as annoying as he would to me.
Then there's things like him paying really close attention to my physicality. He would say things like "You've got something in your teeth" or "when are you changing your hair style on your hair? Your current hairstyle makes you look like a wolf". But these are things he would NEVER say to our mutual friend. Even if there was something in her teeth for example, he would never point it out or saying things about her hair etc. He'd just let her be.
Towards me he is critical, but to her he is relaxed
It's those subtle differences in treatment that make me wonder whether or not there may be something wrong with me me because of the way he treats us differently. Don't get me wrong, he is a wonderful guy, so kind and sweet.
He just analyses me very closely. My mannerisms, the way I talk, heck he even analyses how my mouth is shaped when I talk and makes fun of me about that. Is this normal for guy friend to do or might he have an underlying problem with me? P. S We're in our late 20s.
