Why does my professor starts ignoring me suddenly?

He used to love me and care for me, and I'm sure he has feelings for me, but suddenly he started ignoring me after the students noticed his interest and giving me grades I didn't deserve. I was always getting the highest grades, and the students were saying that something had happened between us, meaning that he slept with me in the office, but that didn't happen. They were just rumors. He was always staring at my face, my chest and my ass I think he likes me and says I am beautiful. One time, during a phone call between me and him, he said to me, “My love,” but one time my friend told him that he should put my notebook in his office, but he refused and always responds to my messages, but yesterday I sent him and I said “ can you explain this Italian grammar for me and my friend on Sunday because my mid will be on Tuesday” he replied “ sorry, I’m busy on Sunday “
In addition when he saw me hanging out with another guy he got jealous and the next day he didn’t talk to me and ignored me

I wanna tell you the story from the beginning , actually he started flirting with me , the fist semester I wasn’t attracted to him but one time he was correcting my quiz he said to me I don’t have to correct your paper I trust you will get 10/10 in front of some students after that the rumours spread and the students published on Facebook that the professor treats me differently and gave me grades I don’t deserve and he used to watch my status on WhatsApp and sometimes replies

But the last semester he stopped doing that and became more careful , when he was watching my status , he did stupid things like teenagers when I published about my favourite singer the day after he took a pic with a singer and started taking a pic of himself and put old pictures of himself , one time I had an exam he started singing over my head in the exam and I got a wrong answer but he said in front of students “ she can’t be wrong , she always knows the answer “ all the students shocked

He likely realized that he was going to get in trouble now that other students found out he gave you good grades that you probably didn't deserve. Just by the fact that you can't figure out why everything changed tells me you probably didn't deserve the grades he gave you. This isn't hard to figure out. While inappropriate relationships do happen between professors and students they almost never end well. That is why most schools have it written into the conduct code that professors and staff are not to date or involve themselves romantically with students. That is when this sorta situation develops that you basically are given grades and privileges that you didn't earn on your own. Stop flirting with teachers. You are presumably paying tons of money to be there to learn. Concentrate on that part.

How old is your professor? Personally, I would be embarrassed to have a relationship with someone so young and I can guarantee you it would negatively impact just about every other relationship I have. If he is much older he risks being viewed as a pedophile, regardless of you not being a minor. In that case, he's not just playing with fire, he's dancing around an inferno.
