Oof, that's always super annoying when a guy adds you and then leaves you hanging! With the time zone stuff it could totally be that, but still a bit rude.
I'd say give it another day or two and see if he replies. If not, a gentle call out couldn't hurt. You could send like an eye roll emoji or something funny like "uhhh did you get lost? trying to find your way back to the chat over here!" Keep it lighthearted.
That way it puts the ball back in his court without coming across too pushy. And if he still doesn't reply, then I'd just leave it. Some guys are flakes sadly.
But from the connecting you did before, it's possible he's actually interested still and just got distracted when moving home. So I'd give the benefit of the doubt for a bit. Keep me posted what happens though! Fingers crossed he comes through with a decent explanation.

Call him out? 😂😂 Yeah that will put him off for sure.
Bottom line: if you are relying on social media, texting, stupid Snapchat, etc to build any sort of connection you will fail guaranteed. Guys would generally rather go to the ballet then communicate online. Girls just can't/won't understand this, and think guys think and reason just like them.
I don’t think you should call him out because there’s no expectations right now. It’s not as if you mutually decided to work towards something, it actually sounds like it’s be too difficult with living in different countries. I guess you can gauge his interest by whether he continues conversation and interacts or not. If he doesn’t then I’d just leave it alone, he isn’t doing anything “wrong” by not talking.
