Why would a guy not respond after initiating a phone call?

So been speaking to a guy for a week we sending long messages 20 sentences+ we both know quite a bit about each other. He’s been very respectful.

He initiated the phone call after a few days of talking. We were meant to have one after I had work yesterday. However I have not heard of him. He ALWAYS replies to my messages no matter how busy he is.

First, don't sit around bean-counting. It creates unhealthy obsessive tendencies that are not good for you or for the guy.

Next, you've only known each other a few days. Are you seriously thinking that you'll suddenly be the center of his universe. Relax. Breathe...

Go do something else for a while. If he doesn't come back, DO NOT act like a desperate bean-counting wuss. Please move on for your own happiness.

Yeah I said I am available for a call anytime from now. (As he told me to let him know when I finish work)
