If a guy asks you about your family, does that mean he’s interested? He was asking about what my favourite food was today as well ….

He's probably sizing you up. Wants to know how many males he would have to deal with that are protecting you; like brothers, dad, uncle's, cousins.

Oh yes, some guys want to know this about a girl.

If they meet a girl and she doesn't have a dad, no brothers just a sister and a mom, then he doesn't have to worry about what he's doing to her, and he better treat her right or he will have to deal with the men in your family.

That's one reason.

Other reason could be he wants to know if you come from a good, loving family or does your family not get along with each other.

Who really knows? 🤷🏼‍♀️ Each guy has his own reasons for asking.

He might truly be interested in finding more about you, or he could be feigning interest in an attempt to make it look like he cares so he can get laid.
You have to figure out what his motives are.

If you are not asking why/for what reason he wants the info he's asking before you decide to give it you will not know what his intentions are. A man is always interested. It is the what you need to be concerned with. Protect yourself.
