Not true in the slightest for me. I've even had long-distance relationships that worked for months or years from my end. She ended up wanting to see other people or couldn't help being curious because of the attention she got, etc every time, never me.

You can definitely develop feelings for someone else if they are around all of the time. Yet if you don't act on those feelings it will pass. It's just something that happens with proximity and missing the one you truly care about

In general I don’t think it stands that men wonder if they are not proximal to the woman they are in love with. In having both women and men friends. I can only think of one man who stepped out on his wife and that was because his wife kept stepping out on him. Having been friends with the wife … I saw it a lot her doing this. I also was getting bitched at often by my friends (men and women) for not reining her in. Not my responsibility. Then there was another woman friend of mine who was constantly balancing several men at once. Each believing they were the only one. Nope.

Largely the men I have known have remained noble and loyal. With the two women exceptions, same goes for the women … unless we are talking about three of my exes who strayed. Two of which I learned through the grapevine they lamented having done so. They made their beds…
