- makes eye contact with me all of the time and smiles (but maybe he is just being friendly

- always seems impressed by my lifestyle

- tells me I have lots of friends

- laughs at all of my jokes, even stupid ones

- remembers phrases I say and repeats them back to me

- tells his friends things I have done or plan to do

-is impressed by my knowledge

-he told me that I was cute

-I feel as though he flirts all of the time

-BUT strange thing, even though he is single or newly single, he mentions that I hang out with 2 of his friends ( one o them more specifically than the other...as though he is trying to pass me off to them. WHY?

No it sounds like you have a shot with him. All these things combined sound like he has a thing for you, which is nice, right? Maybe you should try making some moves of your own to really let him know you're interested. (Y'know... assuming you are actually interested.) I think it would probably end up producing good results.

As for the other thing. Are you sure he's not just talking about his other two friends just for some kind of confirmation, or out of some kind of conversation? Are you sure it's not maybe something like he's checking to see you're not interested in the other guys, like this was to see if he has some kind of competition? It might be something like one of those.

So if you're that into him, don't be discouraged. I don't think it's all in your head.

He might be impressed by you, and maybe he is crushing on you, but it sounds like his friends may be crushing on you as well. If that's the case he might be mentioning them as a favour to them. If he really likes you, which it sounds like, he would want you to eliminate his friends as options to date,maybe by you telling him no thanks when it comes to dating them. He then will tell his friends that you're not interested, then he'll have you all to himself. Flirt with him a little and engage conversation to better understand his intentions.

He likes you but is scared to make it too obvious so he recommends his friends. just like Toban said... you should make it more obvious that you like him (not by immediately giving him your phone number or asking him out). Smile back. Give him smizy eyes showing that its OK for him to ask you out.
