All shy guys finish last?

It seems like all shy guys finish last! A lot all the girls that like shy guys are shy girls and their to shy to approach each other. So nobody talks to anybody. And period guys don't usually get approached by girls and if your too shy to approach a girl are you just screwed?

Screwed? nah. In high school/secondary school, people often depend on confidence in themselves or someone else in order to find someone to go out with. So confident people get noticed first. However when you get older, I think people are more open to who they date and aren't just instantly drawn to confidence (although confidence is key in every stage of dating life) like teenagers usually are. They become more open to dating people of different personality traits (in this case shyness). So their time will come.

Anyway if a shy guy really did like someone and I mean REALLY like, then I'm sure he'd muster up the courage to make the first move, in which case shy guys do not finish last.

i disagree with the last part, shy guy almost aways more shy around the girls they REALLY like so they will almost never make the first move. even if they did they wouldn't know what to say or do they would look silly and make things ockward pushing the girl to walk away while giving him the "Okay... you take care of your self". Also shy guys tend to be good people and often times get put int the friend zone and or get used by the girls their interested in for money, transportation, or favors.

As for the friend zone thing, they don't get put in the friend zone because they're shy, it's because shy guys usually lack 'must-have boyfriend traits' such as the ability to stand up for his girlfriend and himself, to give the feeling of protectiveness, to take the lead in planning outings etc.

I agree that they tend to be easily used by girls as some of them find it hard to stand up for themselves.

Yes, everyone just needs to get a brass set, be it balls or ovaries, and just stop being so damn shy. Everyone will end up alone if no one wants to make that first step.

Its like a middle school dance where the guys are on one side of the gym and he girls are on the other. Once you get those two kids to get on the dance floor and bust a move the others follow suit.

Or at least that's my opinion.

sometimes shy guys just want to be approached by the popular girls, and don't notice the shy girl that likes him ... and popular girls want douche bags... that's how it works... link

that's a thing to change in girls mind... we often think that our signals can be recognized even from the moon... which is a lie... regular guys are often clueless about them (I say regular because players and douche bags can often recognize ''interest'' from the girls side, when nice guys tend be negative and think she is just friendly)

More like Nice guys finish last Lol. In this day and age if you don't play games and play tricks you will never seem to have a girl. Vice versa. No one can be honest or genuine. It's like the more genuine you are the more chances you will get dropped. Guys with no confidence will find it harder to find a a partner. But guys who have confidence will know the tricks to the game. Same with Women.

I wouldn't say screwed, but think of all the opportunities that go missed. A guy doesn't HAVE to approach the girl, but a lot of girls believe that they should seeing as men are usually thought as being aggressive.
