Guys, why do you pursue a girl and then freak out if they like you back?

majority of guys say, they don't like playing games, but then why is it when you're sending mixed signals and a girl suddenly turns around and says, "Hey, I like you." they freeze up or freak out?

is it normal for guys to flirt hardcore with you, and then the moment you show the slightest interest, they stop caring?

I think this might be a case of male vs fe-male perspective and misunderstanding.

I think when you show that you like them too, they get nervous or just simply don't know what to say or do. I would be willing to bet this response is just a way of coping with their anxiety of dating.

I've dated some very pretty girls, and once I knew they really liked me, I almost locked up in a way, making it seem like I didn't care or have any interest. Once I know someone likes me, I might feel as though I need to impress them further so they don't lose interest. Some guys might have some anxiety when it comes to this and just simply don't seem to show their feelings.

It is true though some guys are plan douchebags, and these guys might simply be in it for the satisfaction of winning you over at first. I do however think this kind of behavior would be rare unless you already slept with the guy. Guy's in nature like to conquer. When you submit and they feel they have won, they might simply pay no interest anymore. You've gotta realize this is true for women as well though. I have had many pursuits where the girl knows I like them, and suddenly they just ignore me.. You girls like it just as much!

I personally am not like that. I would certainly pursue a girl I liked if she turned out to like me back. I don't see the sense in going for it then backing off. The hardest part is to find someone who likes you as much as you like them, right?

We are trained to hunt. Meat, Prey, and yes.. even tail. we get all geared up, put out game faces on to try to reel you in, and when you kill the chase, it throws us off. causing us to tell our instinctive side, that there is no work to be done here, and well; it throws us off lol. instead of being so forward, flirt back occasionaly but don't cave in. if he doesn't make a good move within a week or so.. go for the kill!

i think that true because if you have crush on any girl and she doent talk to u,

then you are gonna think that she doent like and if she suddenly tells you that she like you ,

u are gonna freak out because you didn't expect that is gonna happen.

Some guys like it when you play hard to get, then it gets boring when you just say you like them back, then they go off and look for someone else that will avoid them.
