How do you respond when a guy says sorry I passed out last night?

We were talking last night and I asked what are you up to and he replies the next morning, sorry I passed out last night. I want to reply to him but I don't know what I should say.

You can either go a funny route and say "Yah, I wondered why you left me hanging all night ;)"
Or just be casual, and say "Not a problem, how was your sleep?" (that way you are engaging him in another question to continue the conversation)
