So basically I've been having a NSA with a guy from work and our apartment complexes are right across from each other. We kind of have this thing going where we don't have sex but we do everything else, and it both seems to work out for us. I've been told he's a bit of a player and that completely makes sense because when you got involved with me he I think he was sleeping with another girl at work. Anyway we both worked last night together and I asked him if he'd be free later and he said yes. I get home and text him hmu when you get home. He says he got home but he's going to liberty hill ( stuff with his weed biz) and would hit me up when he got back. In the past he usually does this and then hits me up round 2ish. Sometimes I'm awake and I go over sometimes I'm asleep when he messages me and the I'll text him back in the morning sorry I passed out. The one time he didn't message at all , I asked if I misunderstood and he said he wasn't gonna be back till 5 so he didn't wanna wake me up I hmu at 3 saying I was passing out and he didn't open the message till an hour ago (like 11) and hasn't responded. Do I even bother asking him again sometime or does this sound like he's kinda over it and I should just stop?

Nope, don’t go out of your way, you literally aren’t supposed to. The whole purpose of no strings attached is to not create any strings. It seems like a cold aspect but you can’t make anything mean any more than it should and once you do then you’re losing the point of that arrangement. Like if he bails, doesn’t respond, etc etc, you don’t keep asking questions or pressing or anything as if you’re dating. You swallow it and then when you see eachother you do. Aspects like this are why friends with benefits don’t work for so many people because it feels devaluing to an extent. It’s hard to allow yourself to be called whenever, bailed on whenever, etc etc and be completely emotionless about it. Not everyone is built for that arrangement.
