because people get piercings done for themselves not just other people, he might like the way it looks or it might make sex feel better for him like a clit piercing makes sex feel better for girls and/or looks pretty (in my opinion)
he's not going to cheat on you just because he got something done that you dont like, if he was he would cheat even if he didn't get the piercing. if he wants something done you should support him as its his body not yours, obviously if he got something stupid like a face tattoo that would impact his life every day then you could have a say and discuss it.
It just means that he wants to do it...It probably gives them more pleasure and...it gives more pleasure to the woman. You're not a freak because you want a piercing on your piercing.
Why would you do a nose piercing, ear piercing? for its esthetic, it's the same for genitals ones.

I'm pretty sure if he was going to cheat on you, he'd cheat on you regardless of a dick piercing or not.
He just wanted to get it pierced, it's his body and if he wants to pierce it, that's his prerogative.
I really don't know but I heard it is pleasurable for both parties.
