can't you see these definitions they give? pretentious pseudoscience so that psychologists can justify their place.
now lets take anger for example. you mention that you shoul fight anger. really? Christ never said that he said be enraged if you dont sin. what does that mean? anger is a force of the human soul, we dont want to numb it and become apathetic zombies. the secret is to turn it towards the right things. instead of yourself and your fellow humans you turn it towards sin. dont hate what society taught you to hate, "hate" what keeps you down. what seperates you from Life. hate the evil deed but not the person who commited it.
