Quick Trick to Change Your Core belief

The reason you want to change you core belief is because sometimes you think a certain way that hurts your mental health. Core beliefs are things you believe to be true about yourself or what you consider good or bad in life based on life experience. Again, these core beliefs can be harmful depending what you think is true.
1) Get a blank sheet of paper

2) Create a T-chart

3) On one side write what you(Negative) belief and on the other (Positive) Belief

4) Pick something negative about yourself and then give an example that verifies that statement. For example, I think I am a loser because I couldn’t pass that soccer ball.
5) On the positive side write something you believe that’s positive, such as I believe I am a hard worker because there was a time got an A on a difficult test.

6) Examine the negative side. Do you notice a pattern? You can’t find it! But it's right there. All these negative beliefs were created by your mind based on awful experience.
7) So now what? When you're done with this activity I want you to take a little notebook and write down when you’re thinking something bad about yourself, and later ask yourself why.

8) Be constant with your note taking. And be aware of things that hurt you or bug you the most.
9) After a week, take all the negative note and try to contradicted those thoughts and feelings. For example, Let’s say you think your slow because your boss kept asking you to hurry about. Than prove that statement wrong such as I was slow only in my boss point of view because I know I am fast but I wasn’t having such a great day. There plenty of example that shows that I am faster and stronger such as….
10) Repeat Every Week! So You can change the way you view yourself, the world, and others. It’s good for your health!

P.S. I do this to help with the way I see the world and it helps! (:
