Any ideas for weight loss for my mom?

DaniJ
My mom is overweight, and is constantly complaining that she is overweight. She eats pretty healthy, and has started serving healthier foods to the whole family, but she's right in peri-menopause, so it's harder for her to lose weight.

My biggest frustration is that she isn't really trying to exercise, but keeps complaining about being overweight and asks me for help. I've suggested going on walks up the hill in town, but she can't do that because she has stomach problems and needs to be near a bathroom. I've suggested taking a free exercise class with me, but she won't do that because she doesn't want to commit the time when she has failing relatives that might need her help. She can't go biking because her knees are bad. She always has a reason, and I need her to realize that life isn't going to stop for her to decide to exercise.
I'm going to try giving her some tough love and force her on the idea of exercise, but I need a list of things that she might be able to do. I'm sticking with the exercise class, because I think she can deal with it, and I don't think it would be a problem, but I want to load her up with a BUNCH of things that she can do so she gets the picture. Any ideas?
