Losing weight is 80% eating habits. Also, when you work out, you'll gain muscle and muscle weighs more than fat.
You have to calculate how many calories you need and then figure out how many calories you need to lose weight. Here are the website I use:
https://www.bmi-calculator.net/bmr-calculator/
https://www.bmi-calculator.net/bmr-calculator/harris-benedict-equation/
The first calculates your BMR which is like something like your "metabolism" so if you did absolutely nothing all day that's what you need. The harris benedict equation accounts for the amount of calories you need to maintain the weight.
If you want to lose weight, you need to take in 500 less calories then your body needs. When you take the BMR and put it through the equation, subtract 500 calories. By reducing 500 calories a day, you will lose 1 pound a week. I don't know how many pounds equal a kg, but the principle is the same.

The thing is, muscle is more dense than fat. So, while you may lose say, around 5 pounds of fat, you'll be gaining dense muscle in its place. There's no need to worry, you're not gaining any more fat.
Your thighs are bigger because of muscle. Muscle weighs more than fat, that's why you're heavier. The more you workout your body, the more defined it becomes and when you do excercises that build muscle, you will gain muscle weight. It's healthy weight.
focus on other areas of your body and focus less on the places you want to remain the same. it sounds like your building more muscle around your lower body so that could be it. congrats on losing the love handles! :D

Muscle weighs more than fat, when you work out you burn off fat and replace it with muscle. I can't say for sure whether you are gaining fat or losing it, I don't know you, but don't quit. Bike ride, walk a lot, eat healthy and swimming is the best way to burn off fat.
when u workout the fat burns out n u start building up muscles in ur body, if u losing inches n gaining weight, ie if ur getting into shape then its fine, not a problem :)
If your fat is gone around middle, you're losing fat, gaining muscle, and almost certainly looking better.
Muscle is more dense than fat. So you might be slimming down and getting more toned but gaining weight still.
Just do less exercises... How often do you work out?
It's muscle gain.
