Massive migraine - help?

I'm used to getting migraines but I'm on new meds that have made this migraine headaches 100x worse than normal. What do YOU do when you have a raging headache?

I think you should go easy with paracetamol because from what I heard, regular usage of it could cause kidney failure. And also, is it migraine you are getting or sinus infection ( also causes feeling like migraine)? If it's migraine then it can be due to high blood pressure and if you know you have a condition of high blood pressure then best thing to do is to lie down and rest a bit.

I get classic migraine with aura. I don't get them so often that I have to take medication to prevent them, but when I start getting the prodromal symptoms (aura) I take naproxen (Alleve) to head off the worst of the headache.

I take paracetamol and thats it - refrain from watching TV etc

I just take an Advil and that usually does the trick for me.
