Iv gained loads of muscle but my weight is the same yet I can't loose or gain weight when I try?

Iv been the same weight for about 8 years which is 6stone but I cannot gain or loose weight even if I tried! I gain muscle very quickly and easily and now my muscles are quiet big and noticeable but my weight is still the same, im also quiet short for my age and my family keeps nagging me to gain weight when I simply cannot and its been driving me nuts! Why can't I gain or loose weight but I gain muscle easily but how does it not effect my weight? Any ideas please!!

85lbs is a comfortable weight even a little light. But guys don't care how much you weigh as long as you look hot (obviously not advocating fatness here but the actual poundage isn't an issue, if your slim and pretty I could careless how much u actually weigh)

If you gained muscle and stayed the same weight it means you lost fat. Do cardio if you want to cut muscle mass and stay lean.

Also depending on how young you are, I wouldn't sweat it too much. Your body is still developing. Just eat right and stay active.

It is probably because muscle is denser in mass than fat is. Size wise, if you keep trading, you will have to bulk up a lot before you see any appreciable weight gain.
