Having my wisdom teeth pulled out next week and want to go to school the day after the surgery, can I do that?

Next week I'm getting my wisdom teeth pulled out and I'm stoked about it because my gums swallowed my teeth and I haven't talked or ate for about a week and a half. The problem is that I need to stay in school through 2nd quarter because I'm going to an alternative school to get my GPA up in order to graduate in 2016 and I don't want to start off missing weeks of homework. Can I go to school still even though I'm unable to talk?

Yes, you can. I remember having my wisdom teeth pulled a few years ago, and it wasn't so bad--I was able to function just about normally by the end of the day. Drink a lot of water, have tapioca pudding, and get a lot of sleep after the operation. You'll be fine,

The painkillers they have you on will likely have you be too out of it to actually focus on what you're doing in class anyway. You'd be falling asleep on the vicodin.
