Ok, I accept that its a little humiliating, as it was a male doctor and you were naked when he said that. But Doctors dont say things to humiliate their patients. They just care for their welfare. But from the doctor's POV, you are the same when dressed or when naked. And Some dresses cover up for your figure. But when a girl is nude, it doesn't take much to say if she is obese or normal. And considering the prevalance of obesity, You are not the only one he said that, even on the same day. Well YOu can take revenge though. YOu can make up a diet chart, follow some simple exercises, reduce some weight and when you go to him the next time, he might say "Wow you hav lost some pounds" And I'm sure that will make you happy irrespective of your nudity/ is the doctor is male/female. We shouldn't wait to do good things. Hope you hav started already. Its just 10 kilos. Its a lot difficult than now even if its a 5 kilo extra.
Obese range starts not that much above your ideal weight. People think obese is like massive but it isn't. Did he say exactly how much weight to lose and what u are currently? Or do u know what u are and what your ideal weight Range is? Find this information out before crying too much because it may not be as bad as u think it is.
Dont take it the wrong way, just because your fat dosent mean your ugly. As your docter, he is just advicing you for a better life, there is no looks involved at all. Why would you be crying over someone who gave you advice to life a little longer in life. :)
What is your height and weight? If a doctor told you that, then it's because he is concerned about your health, not because he just thinks you are fat.

Docs see a lot of patients so sometimes tact with their words isn't as sensitive as should be. Doctor are sworn to help people so he isn't saying it to hurt your feelings but the opposite to see you healthy. You may not see yourself as "that fat" but it sounds that you aren't in a healthy recommended weight that's appropriate for you. Get healthy you'll be happier for it.

Don't take it personally. He's just doing his job. Nobody wants to be called fat, but obesity is a medical term. All he meant was that you would be more healthy if you lost weight.
He definitely could have said it in a more sensitive way. With that said, being obese is dangerous to your health, and as a physician he is likely concerned about seeing you healthy.
