Fatigue, taking 4 days off?

Sander
hi. i'm new here and i have recently hit a fatigue or what feels like it which means that everytime i go to the gym, i feel un-motivated, not because i don't want to, but because i feel exhausted and feel that i can't finish my workout as effective as i usually do. it could be because of my nervous system that breaks down which can cause symptoms of depression (which i don't have) tiredness, not motivated etc. because i don't give my body enough rest even though i eat throughout the entire day with big meals and small meals, plenty of water to drink, 8 hours sleep give or take and so forth.

i'm thinking of taking 4 days off, and return to the gym this coming friday. my question is whether or not that will have any significant impact on my training or not? if i feel fatigued and not able to finish my workout, then i feel it's time to listen to my body and give it a few days extra rest without working out.

i'm not new to the gym. i'm training to be an athlete and i'm going to study anatomy and physiology next year so i can take an education to be a personal trainer. i think i've been too hard on my body lately and i just need a few days off.
