I wanna lose some weight and my gym has stupid hrs on the weekends. So is 4-5 days a week ok?
Depending on what you're doing for exercise you can get in an amazing workout regimen devoting as little as 3 days a week to it. But yes 5 days a week is plenty and unless you're already at a fairly advanced level of fitness it could be argued that doing anymore is overdoing it.

If the gym is closed go for a walk or run on those days. 6 days a week is the best. But work with what you have
yeah!!! even 3-4 times a week is good if you are doing weight training.
What is your weight? And i wonder how often you make sport?
