Hands turned blue today?

The skin on my hands was ashen, and blue.

I visited the nurse and she said everything was fine, so she wasn't sure why they were that color.
I don't have any previous medical issues, I also don't have Anemia. I have a smaller frame, and it was really cold this morning. Since I drive to school, I normally don't worry about a coat and gloves since I don't have anywhere to store them at school. I'm thinking that's what could have caused it, but my hands hadn't acquired that color until the middle of the day. It went away after a hot shower.

I was just wondering if this has happened to anyone else?
Or does anyone know why this happens?

Sometimes it just happens I think. It isn't like a major circulation problem or anything to worry about, but sometimes it can happen when you wake up or stay in one spot for too long.
Sometimes, your hands or feet can also feel numb or tingley with it, and it's the same thing and usually will fix itself within a couple hours max.

If it happens frequently, stays all day or comes on during the day while you're active, then maybe get bloods done.

if you don't have bad circulation, then I think that it's just because of the cold. Wear gloves next time and you should be fine but if it happens again go see your doctor

my nails are always that colour to be honest. Kind of like egg plantish. Not that dark, but something towards that
it's bad circulation. When i stand still for too long my feet start to get all tingly and itchy and they turn to that colour.

I don't think that's the case. I don't think they've ever really done this before... plus she squeeze my fingernails and said the blood flow was good!

that's weird. never happened to me ever. but she said you are okay, but if you are stil worried you can always consult a doctor :)

Could be dye, y'know?
When I went back to College in September I wore a blue Tie Dye shirt. And as the day progressed my arm started to turn blue.. It wasn't until someone said to me ''Dude, what's up with your arms lmao?''
It was that moment when I realized my progression to becoming was a Smurf complete.

it happens to me sometimes because one of th towels i use is blue LOL

Maybe a lack of blood flow. I'd go to the doctor, not the school nurse. They would be able to help better

She squeezed my fingernails and said the blood was flowing fine!

It might be something else. I would check with the doctor. They would be able to check for more things.

Might be that you were cold, so blood ran away from your hands and went to other parts of your body to regulate your body's temperature.
