And can you cook food in coconut oil? Does food taste better?
Would you apply coconut oil to your hair? And would you cook food in coconut oil?

Yeah I use it on my hair and cook with it. My hair is thin so I don't use much of it and I rinse it out, and it doesn't smell like it because I'll combine it with an essential oil that I think smells nice.
I use it for food because I think it is a healthier alternative oil, I don't really taste a difference. I did make chocolate with coconut oil two weeks ago and it tasted wonderful.
Cool :) I'll try it in food too!
Honestly it really depends what kind of hair you have.. I am African American and my hair texture and everything about my hair is different from all my friends, even when I straighten it! Coconut oil is perfectly fine in my hair, and doesn't make it greasy. It all depends on your hair type!
Can it be used on blonde hair?
If you have thicker hair it should be alright, but if your hair is really fine then it would probably make it greasy
Coconut oil is the only oil I use in my hair these days! (btw I'm a black guy).
Cool :) I guess it makes the hair stronger?
no i'd never try it on my hair.
but i would cook food in it
Why not on your hair?

I sleep once a week with coconut oil in my hair. I also use a couple of drops a day before I dry it. It's amazing stuff and smells oh so great! I always smell a little coconutty!
Cool :) I like coconuts! :P
It makes your hair greasy... I wouldn't use it but yes it does smell pretty great. Maybe you can cook with it? Not sure.
Have you tried food cooked in coconut?
You can but I don't know... weird I guess
Yeah I have but it taste very... different I would say. Not bad but.. different.
I use unrefined coconut oil in my hair to seal in the moisture. I've never used it for cooking but I'm well aware you can use it for both.
Does it only work on black hair?
I'm not sure... never used it on another person's hair but my own lol
my mom uses coconut oil in her hair we dont cook with it but it doesn't leave any smell and it leaves your hair soft
No, i wouldn't. Why would you?
I do cook with it almost exclusively though.
Does food taste better or different?
I had used coconut oil on my head but that was long back... i don't remember how it felt
It tastes different, not necessarily better. But it's healthier than vegetable oils, which is more rancid from being subject to high temperatures and uses chemical solvents in the process of making them.
I think it is! Not sure though.
er... isn't that what's for? lolololl...
