That's totally unhealthy. One meal a day is awful, and if you're gonna have a salad, make it at home. Salads from fast food restaurants have more calories than a burger! or slight below it. ewk!
on a meal a day, at the beginning you will actually start to look fatter... because your body will go on starvation mode, and trying to keep all the fat as possible since you're making it starve... then eventually after some time, you will indeed lose weight, but it's very unhealthy, and you could end up on the hospital with really bad anemia putting your life at risk...
Why don't you instead have very small meals all throughout the day? but make sure it's healthy meals... and not empty calories, loaded on sugar and flour. Sugar, salt and flour are your worst enemies. I could give you huge lectures on what to eat, but I always get ignored on here so bleh~ but as far as your idea goes... that's an awful Idea. Educate yourself about nutrition, once you learn the healthy way to eat, you'll never have to starve yourself. and COOK your food!! instead of buying it made! you're not a little girl.

I'm obviously not one to be talking about nutrition and diet hahah, but you need to exercise aswell as a healthy balanced diet to lose weight :) your body needs all the nutrients from the different food groups. :)
Short answer: It's not as important how much you eat (though to a certain extent), but WHAT you eat.
When you don't give you body very many nutrients, it tends to want to store whatever you do give it anyway. So you might very well lose weight, but because your body is beginning the process of starvation. As soon as you eat something more filling, it will pack it away because it doesn't know it will eat next. And when you start eating normally again (which I really hope you would), you will quickly gain all that lost weight back.
Don't get so desperate about this weight loss goal that you go about it in all the wrong ways. You need to coax your body into burning it off naturally and boosting your metabolism up as a result of higher activity. Shaping your body doesn't come easy... that's why it's not too common to see people happy with theirs. But do it the right way because on top of getting the body you want AND it being in a natural, healthy way... exercising alone is such a drug for happiness that you won't want to stop.
You could eat an omelette for breakfast, a chicken salad for lunch and dinner and a yogurt partait every day and lose weight fast, while preserving lean body mass better.
You'd be in ketosis either way but your suggestion wouldn't have enough protein to support it. So you'd burn muscle (hopefully not from your heart) and then regain a ton of weight when you start eating again.

Yes, but that's a very bad way to go about it. That is not enough calories to regulate proper body functions, it is lacking in many nutrients, and eating once a day instead of spreading your meals out isn't great. Instead of trying one extreme diet you should try to learn how to eat regularly, with proper sized proportions of healthy foods.
Short answer is no if you want to lose weight eat relatively healthy (don't have to be really strict like they tell you) and exercise. You'd be surprised how much bad stuff is actually in a mcdonalds salad aswell lol
That's a really bad way to do it. You need more.
Get a calorie tracker to help you loose.
Drink lots of water, cut out sugars.. but don't nutrient deprive yourself.Your body needs energy to lose weight.
Your energy you get from food.
If you don't eat your body Goes into starvation mode because it prepares to keep you alive as long as it can on no food.
You need to eat and exercise , simple.Yes you'll lose weight, but cutting down on food or having food only once a day is not a healthy way of losing weight. You'll likely end up losing your strength, stamina and energy too, along with your weight.
Yes. You'll go into a state of starvation. You'll also lose muscle mass and strength and the minute you start eating again your body will store it in the form of fat. Highly bad idea.
That is a horrible diet, you are depriving your body of carbs and countless nutrients. And you body will actually consume itself if it doesn't get what it needs.
Eat like a normal person and hit the gym under a proper workout plan for an hour a day instead.
Weight is a matter of pounds. Looking good is a matter of exercise.I eat Big Macs and don't gain wieght..
So I think you will loose weightdont do it, eat vegetables and chicken 5 times a day instead lol
You can eat anything with moderation at the right time. You dont have to change what you eat just how you eat it.
You need to focus on nutrition value than calories. Eating a single salad a day wont' provide you the nutrition you need to remain healthy.
You are going to make yourself sick.
