Family makes Eating healthy hard?

I am currently in the process of changing the way I eat. I'm trying to cut out fried foods, chips, chocolate, drinks, and fast food. I do fine when I'm by myself, but as soon as my family is around I go back to my old ways. When I turn down fried chicken, they say I'm acting funny. When we go out, I'll try to choose something healthy, but they always tell the waiter no she'll have this, so I'll just go with it instead of causing a scene. They know I'm trying to eat right, it's like they are trying to sabotage me. Any advice on what to do?
