Well first, you cannot spot train. That means loose fat in a certain area. Your body shifts its far around like weekly, one week you right arm could have the mojority of the day, then next week its your left calf, then left arm etc. For you, maintain a 160 beats per minute and just do cardio 20-30+ minutes around 5 days a week. Drown yourself in water and have a calorie deficient diet meaning eating less cals. than body burns in a day. For me, when I lost 50lbs I was told my body burns about 2200 cals sitting on the couch all day, just to breathe and live, nothing else, 2200 cals. Add in exercise and that increases obviously. So I ate under 2000 a day but not by much and I lose.50lbs in 10 weeks. Its %80 nutrition and %20 diet

Muscle tone?
Seeing you probably don't want to get too big.
That's easy , just do high rep weighted exercise , eat right and in 4-5 months you should start seeing considerable muscle toning. (muscle staying in tension when you're static)
I have a same question too. I work out hard but can't seem to lose them. :'( but i also eat a lot.
