I do weights in the gym for 4 days then do a HIIT session on the 5th day. Lately I've been exploring doing yoga inversions and have been doing some bound headstands with various leg positions and found that to be a lot of fun. I'm currently looking into expanding beyond my comfort zone in working towards a handstand. I've tried it in the past but my body isn't perfectly symmetric so balancing has always been an issue.
I would like to do more bodyweight exercises. They're very empowering and exhilarating. So far I'm just doing dips, bench dips, and pull-ups. I would love to be able to do a set of muscle up's once I find some time to look up some videos and figure out how to best approach it.
I also have a treadmill desk so I walk/stand all day.
Forgot to add, one of the great natural vegan body builders is Frank Medrano which if anyone here hasn't seen his viral video should look him up. He's a big proponent of bodyweight exercises as well.
Sounds good!
Body weight training is definitely fun and challenging. You are on track with the push ups and dips. I recommend doing push ups, pull ups, and dips to build some foundation strength. Then go into explosive training only to get that muscle up... explosive pull ups mainly.
I've never really come across and looked into explosive training in my years of working out to be honest. I'll have to check that out, thanks!
Weights. Did bodyweight excercises for a while but wasn't happy with results.
Cool. Yeah, just bodyweight isn't going to get you the buff look typically.
Yeah my goals are basically get as big and strong as possible, bodyweight certainly doesn't help that.
I run 2 miles on the beach twice every day (morning and night).
Swim when the weathers nice (usually every day).
Surf when there are waves (not often enough)
Bike to work when im able (7 miles one way).
Hike when the weathers nice and im able to (usually only winter time, too hot/humid otherwise...).
We have a winner!
Cardio and with a personal trainer who gives me a huge variety of stuff, which I love as I get bored doing the same thing. I used to swim and horse ride a lot but gym is more convenient at the moment.
Try calisthenics
Had to look that one up - my PT does give me many of those exercises as well as stuff with weights and boxing and medicine ball. And then some of those body weight exercises such as chin ups are impossible for me to do as I can't lift my body weight
Difficult to get to. Never impossible ;)
Impossible at the moment - at my fittest, most I could do is 2. But a long way from that at the moment... I started using that machine that with weights to counteract against your own weight just so I can start to build up to it.
That's a great start!
Thanks :-) It will take me ages - upper body strength always takes me ages to build. Legs are a different story...

Basically I watch Fitnessblender videos and will download them off of YouTube. Then I pick which area of my body I want to work on.

Cardio, heavy weights and gymnastics.
Gymnastics! Nice.
Walking and eating right
Nice!
Walking is the healthiest form of workout anyone can do. Most do not know this. MUCH better than running.
Right now I'm into running and yoga.
