What are your best tips to avoid eating junk food, candy, ice cream, cookies etc?

I've been starting a healthier lifestyle, and been sticking to it for months now. I work out 4 times a week, but I think it's nearly IMPOSSIBLE to stop eating all that crap. When friends/family offers some cookies/candy I think it's so hard to say no, and when I go grocery shopping something sweet just slips in.

I eat oat porridge for breakfast, but that is like the only healthy meal I eat. How do you manage keeping a healthy lifestyle in the kitchen?
