This is when I suggest pulling together some money for a personal trainer and calling local gyms to see who specializes in people with sports injuries. You don't need a trainer you see every day or even once a week - What you need is someone who can explain how to adjust common workouts as you advance and which ones are a big 'not ever' so you never aggravate your injury.

i had minor tears to my meniscus and ACL on my right knee, not super bad, i didn't need surgery
but i needed a lot of therapy and i couldnt play basket ball for months!

They have a lot of home workout varieties, from rookie to extreme. The only downfall they have or maybe it won't be so much for you is that most of their workouts require fancy equipment
