Any tips?
I've been trying to lose weight and get better physically! But nothing seems to be working?
Any tips?
As a girl who just lost 70 lbs. damn it it hard. Lol but weight loss is actually made up of 80%of food intake and 20% exercise. Watch what u eat. I only eat one (food) meal a day. My other 2 meals are smoothies (natural). I alternate walk/run and I do Pilates. You need to raise your metabolism and build muscle. Muscle burns more calories, even if you are just sitting. Also, I don't workout excessively because then I get too hungry. I eat 2 snacks a day usually an apple and a handful or 2 of almonds.
Alright! What kind of smoothies do you make? Like what do you put in them? I go to the gym almost everyday and I run on Wednesdays and Fridays , should I run more?
what do people around you say? They might notice a difference that you don't
They say I'm getting better cause I'm starting to lift more weight and run longer. But I don't like my stomach fat and I'm not one to wear skin tight clothes
Have you tried calorie counting? That works the best for me. It might be just the way your body works or body type. From what I understand people gain or lose weight in different order of body part. Like me, I notice that my waist gets smaller first and my thighs the last whenever I lose weight.
I did try it once but i think I'm gonna give it another shot and mine I notice my thigh are more tone and butt but my stomach stays the same -.- it's annoying cause it's the only place I have extra fat
Do you have a ruler or apple body type? I think it's worth the try, and keep doing what you're doing. Good luck! ;)
I honestly have no idea like I'm not over weight I'm 16 pounds away from my max weight which is 135 and I'm 5'2. I really wanna get my stomach tight and smooth
I don't think people with those body types are overweight. Those are simply the types. It's how the proportion and body fat distribution. If you have one of those types, you might feel that you have fat stomach because the rest of your body is small compared to your tummy. Or you might not have exercised it enough. I thunk it's one of those reasons. But I'm no expert though. That's just how I understand about weight loss.
I agree on the body type thing. I've always been well proportioned but i struggle with the tummy area. I think this is a small hip girls issue. I have small hips compared to most women ( says the hip chart) and it's like the weight can't spread out as far when u have small hips. Bigger hipped woman seem to have flatter tummies. At least the ones I've seen.
The most important thing is consistency. Find one solid exercise program and stick to it. As for diet, stick to the basics. Lean meats, fruits and vegetables, whole grains, low fat dairies. Consume 500 calories less than what you need to maintain body weight.
Your problem is that you're switching around from plan to plan and your body is spending time adjusting to all these changes instead of improving.
ab circuits and core workouts. and dont drink any kind of alcohol if you do otherwise that weight will never be lost even if its just a little.
No alcohol! Got it. What do you have any exercises or certain workouts you would advise?
better yet i can give you the app i use. its called madbarz it has all sorts of good workout routines that can help you. other than that i recommend doing plyometrics, bicycle kicks, crunches (not sit ups), plank, half plank, side planks etc just look them up if you aren't sure what they are they are very helpful.
Alright thank you!

eat less than 2000 calories a day, preferably 1000-1500 for a few weeks and excercise more.
I did try it once but I shall give it another try thank you!
and the type of food you eat is important too, anything with a high fat content, junk food or cakes/sweets is a no no. Pastry and dairy not good either.
vegetable/salad and fruit, fish, brown bread, potatoes (not fried)
one more thing, stick to it, dont reward yourself after a week by pigging out, it doesn't work like that. Set aside a couple of months of living healthily and excercising lots and it should make a big difference.
Alright! Why is dairy bad?
Alright I will!
not all dairy is, but cheese typically contains a lot of fat and calories, as does full fat milk (blue top in the uk). cream is also very fattening. eggs are ok i guess
There are such things as healthy fats and dairies have much needed calcium. Dairies definitely should be in your diet just within reason. Also, calorie intakes depend on the individual. If a person needs 3000 calories to maintain then suddenly only consumes half, the body will use muscle as fuel in turn causing exercise to be harder and progress to be slower
