It can go both ways. Different kinds of stresses make me react differently. Usually with exam stress or guy stress I'll eat less. However with family stress and other kinds of stresses can lead me to eat more. Thankfully I have a speedy metabolism and have never experienced lots of weight gain due to stress.

I eat a lot but somehow lose weight it's really weird it just messes up my metabolism. I have been so stressed lately and eating nothing but junkfood and fruits and I lost 6 pounds and that stressed me out even more!!!
Buckets of ice cream, burgers, pizzas, potato chips, indian food, chinese food, cookies, soda, beer, chocolate bars etc etc etc
The same as when I'm not stressed: Eat ALL the things.

I have two different forms of stress. When I'm worried or sad while stressed I tend to eat very little. When I am overwhelmed and stressed I tend to eat whole pints of icecream at a time.
my eating habits don't change but i tend to drink a lot of juice or soda
anything with sugar. i ate half a box of ores yesterday and i felt like shit
before i lost the 150 pounds i would stress eat all the time
