No, there's a lot put into marketing saying it does and a lot of weak anecdotal evidence on questionable websites when it comes to acne. If you've got acne the best thing you can do is see a GOOD dermatologist.

The problem with aloe is it can have a drying effect on the skin if it is over used. And that can make your acne worse.

I've never used aloe on my face, but all products with aloe i HAVE used have been super effective.
