IT HURTS what should I do?

I just got my braces today, and I've taken two tylenols but it still hurts like hell. what else can I do to make the pain stop?

I'm not sure if this applies to braces but see if the doctor can make any adjustments on them. I use a mouthguard at night and they had to adjust it because it wasn't fitting right and would hurt to use.

I know how this pain feels like, it's terrible. Unfortunately there isn't much you can do, it'll hurt for some days.

nothing really, when I had braces, you just have to eat the softest food, preferably liquids and no chewing! that hurts too much, just let the medicine kick in

I remember that pain. xD Nothing you really can do. I doped up on aleve and went to sleep. It's going to be hell the next day. Just to let you know ahead of time.

I didn't feel anything when i got my braces on. I did however rub my tounge on them so much that it started to bleed.
