Why do people with good skin make people with bad skin feel bad?

I swear this is the 5th time its happened to me when I am having a conversation with someone about makeup and they always have to say "oh i dont wear makeup everyday like foundation oh my gosh i couldnt do that everyday" and its like nO S*** because you have good skin. Literally they have the clearest skin and dont need it when i am looking at them with a FACE FULL OF MAKEUP because i have horrible acne. Like dont other people realize they make other people feel horrible or are they that oblivious? I can't even

my skins clear because i never wore foundation through my teens im sure if i did wear it id have gotten a lot more spots. im sure acne can be aggravated more by foundation as it blocks the skin breathing and clogs pores too. anyway i dont think the girl was purposely commenting to make you feel bad she was only saying she doesn't wear it because she does like the feel of it on her face every day, you guys WERE talking about makeup. if she had said it randomly after talking about a different subject you could take it as a dig at you but you guys were already discussing it

You should try to put yourself in their perspective. I don't think people try to degrade you on purpose. They're just being honest. The only reason why you're feeling bad is because you make it out to be that way. It's all in perception and point of view. You shouldn't hate someone for something you don't have, rather you should appreciate what you do have and be the best version of you.

I can't even what? too annoyed, i guess to complete!!! i have bad skin and wish i could just peel some skin off these middle eastern people (in a good way though!!).. they have such beautiful skin... it does dent your confidence for sure... people often come to me and say, hey why don't you try this or that... may be they want to help but it does become irritating...

Or some people just have naturally better skin than others and some people have adult acne... Its whatever though some people are ignorant

Uhh... well, it's not our intention to make you feel like shit. We just honestly don't understand how people can wear foundation because we don't. And that might be 50% of the reason as to why our skin is so clear.
