What's an easy NATURAL (no store bought products) to get your teeth super white?

The reason for this is the acidity of strawberries, the acid cleans your teeth from dark stains and this gives you the appearance of having bright, white teeth.

but be careful, don't do it too much because the problem with using strawberries to make your teeth whiter is that over time exposing your teeth to acid will damage the enamel. When your enamel is damaged it reveals the dentin in your teeth, the problem with this is that dentin is made from a yellow substance. So you can see how using strawberries to whiten your teeth will not do well for you in the long-term. The seeds in strawberries can also scratch against your teeth which causes further damage.

If you do decide to try using a strawberry paste as a teeth whitening remedy then you should be sure to rinse your mouth out with mouthwash immediately afterwards to wash away any remaining acid. Then make sure not to eat or drink for ten minutes after rinsing out your mouth so that your tooth enamel has time to harden again, and brush your teeth gently with a calcium toothpaste.

If your teeth are stained from coffee, tea, or smoking you can use baking soda to brush with but not to often it is very abrasive which can damage your teeth in the long run. Whitening tooth pastes are about the same they don't really work except if you have external stains. If your teeth are just naturally yellow you can't do to much to change that without actual bleaching products such a crest white strips or bleaching through your dentist because the color comes for the second layer of your teeth, inside the teeth were toothpastes and baking soda can't reach. And I am sorry but that answer about the strawberries is totally wrong go ahead and eat them if you like them but they won't help or hurt your teeth in any way. I had a whole class on teeth whitening and I assure you strawberries were never mentioned lol.

The people at your school with those super white teeth probably do monthly or bi-monthly teeth cleaning at the dentist so don't think you're not normal.

if you see people with super white theeth,( either eal life or TV) they do monthly complete theeth cleaning and whitening. much what the guy above said

try Jason's brand of natural toothpaste-there's a whitening one in that brand and it's in natural health food stores

Strawberries with salt help.

Baking soda is helpful as a natural tooth paste as well.

Eating apples, carrots, and celery helps to clean your teeth. Especially apples, which work the same way as eating strawberries.

Black and green tea help prevent plaque from adhering to your teeth.

Don't brush your teeth a lot, that just wears down your enamel. And don't brush your teeth right after eating citrus fruit or drinking soda--the acid combined with brushing erodes your enamel even more.

I use whitening toothpaste...um it has some whitening flakes or something in it and it works. Just NEVER buy those whitening strips that are expensive, all they do is take off the natural shine off ur teeth and make ur teeth look very fake, my mom tried them and they didn't work.

Yea I know! They also make your teeth weaker and more sensitive. :S I think it chemically mealts off a layer of your teeth or something. o.o

I've just been using whitening tooth paste and it worked really well for me actually, my teeth are soo white. I know you said no store bought products, but I'm assuming you already use tooth paste.

Lol Yea, I already use the whitening stuff. I haven't really noticed much of a difference and it's been like 3 months. How long did you use it for before it really helped?

Um, I started using it about 6 months ago. I'm not entirely sure when but my teeth have been pretty white for awhile. I use the Aquafresh ultimate white.

whitening toothpaste and baking soda, it's a natural whitening product, even if you want your hair lighter you can wash your hair repeatedly with baking soda.

Do I just rinse my mouth with baking soda then? How do you use it?

Just like a tooth paste, add some water to it and so it pretty thick still, and brush your teeth with it and still use tooth paste of course.
