Eat healthy. I keep telling everyone and I feel like a broken radio, but go vegan and eat no less than 2100 calories (you need it to sustain your body and build muscle). Best foods for gaining muscle are natural plant proteins, like tofu, beans, broccoli etc etc. And cardio is not enough, start lifting heavy weights. It can be done. Keep it low salt and low fat for maximum effect. Carbs are your friends. Best of luck!

No girlie! Lift some weights. Plus weight lifting continues to burn fat after your workout while cardio doesn't.
Gaining muscle involves pushing muscles to the point of hypertrophy. If you're going at it long enough to work your cardiovascular system, then that means you're pacing yourself too much to induce hypertrophy. Basically you need to be doing strength training. Bottom line.
you wil gain stamina in your muscles but not much new muscle developement is going to happen with slow steady state cardio. You should try HItt training to sculp and lose fat.

It depends on the type of cardio but it's very very hard. Unless you're doing olympic track training type of cardio, then you won't be able to. Cardio is to make your heart stronger and circulation better and to train your respiratory system, not your muscles. You're better off doing weight training if you want to gain muscle.
Most likely not, you will have to incorporate some small weights, cardio just burns fat and doesn't add muscle.. however you can also focus on eating a lot of protein!
Not really. Cardio will tone your muscles and make them harder, but to gain muscle, you need to do weights.
Muscle? No. You have to do other exercises. Resistance training and cardio is what you need.
How much muscle are you wanting to gain and where do you want to gain the muscle? :-)
You need to do some kind of strength training to at least preserve muscle
