I'm not trying to prevent pregnancy! The reason I'm on the pill is due to heavy bleeding during my period. That being said, today is July 18. My last birth control pill in my current pack will be taken tonight. I'm leaving for the beach for a week on August 8th and I'm supped to get my period on August 9th. If I DONT want to get my period until after I come back on the 15th could I possibly skip this week of birth control pills and start taking them on July 26th instead? Will this help me prolong my period since I'll have more active pills? Or should I take another pack to the beach with me and only continue taking the active pills? Only, I don't want break through bleeding. Please give me an honest and detailed answer. I do not want my period at the beach
