Wisdom teeth question?

My wisdom teeth is about to come out and its making my gum swollen. Me breath stinks too because of it. When i insert my finger to the part thats not swollen it doesn't smell but when I touch the swollen part its stinks like crazy. Is this normal? Has anyone experienced this?

i went to my dentist and she told me to get an xray to see if i need to get rid of it or not. She also said that itsnormal that its swollen. But she didn't mention anything about bad breath and when i went to her i did not experience bad breath it just started happening today.

Sounds like you may have some infection back there or the wisdom teeth have started to decay and that's what you're smelling. My dentist told me that is rather common when I had mine out because they don't get brushed properly that far back in your mouth and they begin to decay. You'll have no problems after they remove them.

Maybe infection cause the teeth is not even out yet

You could potentially have food trapped under the swollen part, under your teeth, that's the only thing I can think of why it "smells".

wash your mouth out with hydrogen peroxide it will kill any infections and get rid of the bad smelling breath also wash your mouth out with baking soda water 30 minutes after rinsing with hydrogen peroxide :) trust me fixed a lot of mouth problems for me

My dentist told me to use mouthwash. I meant i have never experienced bad breath my whole life until now that my wisdom teeth is about to come out. Well except when i just wakeup

trust me I use hydrogen peroxide best stuff in the world for tooth infections baking soda water gets rid of the acid on your teeth

if you have bad breath its possible a crevice has opened up somewhere

Yes thats what i was thinking cause i can feel my wisdom teeth the one on the top hitting the swollen gun everytime i chew

I just did. Apparently i have another wisdom teeth coming out. So in total i have 2, and i have to get both removed

The teeth is not out yet. there's only swollen gum and it hurts really bad. I can't brush it
