theres unfortunately no magic way to lose weight, despite what those commercials would have you to believe.
If you want to lose weight, you need to start documenting everything that goes into your body. You need to know where those daily calories are coming from, and in what healthy ways you can reduce the intake. (Drinking water instead of soda for example)
Everything revolves around what exactly is in that food.
My best friend is a bodybuilder, and to get to his proper lean-ness he kinda went crazy with health stuff, and that's what he did, he documented and documented.
As far as exercise goes, if you want to be lean, you need to do high reps. This means you need to do sets of 20 situps, not 10, even if you do less sets. Do wall sits, calf raises, lunges, etc. There is tons you can do without a gym membership.
You will need to also do a lot of cardio. If you usually the choices are running, biking, or swimming. Anything that gets you exhausted and tired. Really, walking doesn't do much. You really need to get your heart rate up, because when you get active like that it boosts your metabolism which burns those calories.
Good look to you! Losing 30 pounds is already an accomplishment that is not to be taken lightly, and just believe in yourself and keep a positive attitude! Your psych plays a huge role in health.
