The real question is how do you carry it? I have sen women with more body weight that look good, and women with less weight look bad just because of how they carry it. I personally find that women tend to under estimate there looks, especially when it comes to body weight. Personally I think thicker thighs and butt is not a bad thing, if its carried well.

if you're pear shaped, just note that you cannot control how your body loses weight, but you CAN control where you tone the most. Try toning your bottom half with more exercises like squats and sprints.
Work out your upper body to shapen it more and walk a lot. Use the ankle weights when walking as they really help you to shape your leggs.
I'm a pear to.. everything is slim except for my ass and hips.
