BMI doesn't tell anywhere close to the full story. Just because your BMI is high does not necessarily mean you're fat or even overweight. I was bordering obese on the BMI scale in the summer, but I was in complete control of my weight and definitely wasn't fat. That's a more extreme case because I was bulking to add muscle at the time, but it's a good example of how BMI can be far from the truth. Since then I've cut thirty pounds and I'm in great shape with a body fat percentage of just 14%, but I still register as overweight with BMI. It doesn't take body fat percentage or many other factors into account. BMI is an extremely simple tool to provide some general ideas if anything. You can't get an accurate reading from just your weight and height.
I'm kind of thinking that your parents were right and you are overreacting. I'm sorry, because I'm sure that's not what you want to hear, but there's a good chance that's correct. It's really no fault of your's, but it happens. Some people are really hard on themselves when it comes to looks and/or being fit. I do the same thing myself. It can be good in the sense that it makes me push myself to get the look I want, but sometimes you just have to step back and take an unbiased look at what's really there.
I find it easier to get that unbiased look through pictures rather than a mirror. The perception you have of yourself and what you see in the mirror isn't always the truth. Take a bunch of pictures of yourself some with clothes, some without, from a couple different angles. Don't show these pictures to anyone, they're to help yourself only. Hopefully this let's you get an accurate assesment of yourself.
Ideally the assesment is positive and you no longer have a problem. If it turns out that you're still not happy with you're body, well that can be fixed too. Just get on the right kind of diet and exercise program and anything can be accomplished.
That's pretty much all the help I can give without actually seeing what you look like or at least more information. Hope what I wrote does help you, but if you have more questions, want help with a diet/exercise program, or anything else feel free to send me a message.

talk to your parents or whoever your guardian is and tell them what you've said here. hopefully they can arrange some kind of therapy if you feel as if this is going to progress into an order disorder (may already have), or get in touch with a nutritionist or someone who can help create a meal plan and exercise routine that caters to your body personally
I can say I feel similar, my BMI doesn't say I'm overweight, but when I look at myself and then look at the women on television, I've caught myself thinking "I wish my ________ looked like hers." The way the media has affected our generations mind to be thinner than what the BMI says is healthy causes many girls to feel exactly how you do. Wrong yes, but they make millions.
If you choose to lose weight, its best to start small and have realistic goals. Salads and fruit are good for you, but so is almost everything on the foodchain (other than the top part of course). And you can't cut sugar out completely, there's sugar in fruit.
And I wouldn't go counting calories, that will drive you insane. All that calulating, worrying about going over, forget that. What I'd do is read on there how much is a portion, and stick with that guideline.
As far as workouts go, don't try to overwork yourself. By doing that could cause you more damage than good.
And the last thing you wanna do is beat yourself up over this. Losing weight does not happen overnight, you will need to be dedicated to this and willing to make small life changes, then some more, then some more until you finially get to where you wanna be at. Wish you well.
Well let me tell you I kno exactly how you feel! I think what you need is a support group of some sort. You need someone be there with you and tell you that you can do it...or jst push you. Comment my answer if you would like to talk to some more about what I do...let me tell you though...its not very fun...
